If you have friends or family thinking about SFCS as a home school option, please invite them to come to Pi Day this Thursday from 1 – 3 PM to get an idea of what SFCS has to offer home school families. (Please RSVP to email@example.com)
Pi is a name given to the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. It always equals 3.14 (plus a lot of other numbers after the decimal point). To celebrate this mathematical function and math in general, Mrs. Wilde’s 7th and 8th grade students and student council volunteers are running a Mathematics (Pi Day) Carnival. Since there is no school on Friday, 3.14, this year the Pi Day Carnival will be on Thursday. It will start at 1:00 pm and end at 3 PM. For every game students play, they win tickets to earn pieces of pie (one of the few times per year we have sweets on campus, in accordance with our Wellness Policy).
