As part of the Land and Legacy Project started many years ago, the stories of children who lived and went to school in Catheys Valley in previous generations were recorded and then laser etched into memorial plaques. The “Children of Catheys Valley” plaques are now in place on campus, ready for students, teachers and community to enjoy and to be inspired by what "kids like us" have done with their lives. Big thanks to community member Steve Jantz for his skill in laser etching, his willingness to use repurposed material to make the beautiful frames around the plaques, and his time to place the plaques on their pedestals.
