SFCS welcomes Instructional Aide Dana Swarth. SFCS families may have met Dana last year in one of her many substitute roles – aide, morning food service assistant, and after school program instructor. This year, Dana is excited to join the day-to-day team at SFCS. Dana graduated from The Evergreen State College with a B.A. in Environmental Anthropology. She has spent much of her life traveling foreign countries and learning from different cultures – most recently sailing across the Caribbean and working in farming communities in Central America. Dana has experience running an elementary school garden program and interning on a Waldorf School Farm. Dana believes that children are our future and she is looking forward to sharing her passions for gardening, sustainability and cultural diversity. Welcome, Dana!
