Do you have wood chips, newspapers, cinder blocks, or metal mesh? Ms. Miranda’s 5th and 6th graders continue to enjoy weekly pottery sessions with artists Phyllis Becker and Tiffany Newberry through the Mariposa County Arts Council's wonderful Artists in Residence Program. They are planning to make a sawdust kiln so they can fire their pottery on campus. They are looking for donations of very thick sawdust or small wood chips, newspapers, small twigs, bricks or cinder blocks, and metal hardware mesh/cloth. They are collecting these items through January. If you can donate any of these items, please bring them to the office or contact Ms. Miranda at erika@sierrafoothillcharterschool.org to make arrangements. Thanks in advance!
